The objective of the IBM System Storage TS3400 is to provide a more affordable and space friendly tape library for users in remote locations. While this an entry level library, it is unique in that its two drives support enterprise-class technology in an EIA 5U enclosure. The 18 tape cartridges within the library enable 25.2TB of compressed physical data storage and may be rackmounted or used as a table top unit.
