GALILEOS – Bringing a new dimension to dentistry: Sirona is introducing the new 3D x-ray system GALILEOS with multiple possibilities for advanced dentistry. The unit is based on Sirona-Cone-Beam-Technology. During a complete scan of the patient’s head in just 14 seconds, 200 single shots are taken. Through the GALILEOS reconstruction algorithm the complete three-dimensional volume of the patient’s head is generated – in a reconstruction time of only seven minutes. The innovative strength of GALILEOS lies in the combination of a unique and sophisticated continual workflow between hard- and software with intuitive operation – opening up a new diagnostic world in dentistry.
