Aesthetics and expediency do not exclude each other. Required design specs like necessary air in- and outtake surfaces as well as optimum all-round view were to be taken into consideration. At the same time it was important to express the compact strength of the new tractor, to design it as an easily recognizable member of the CLAAS machine and brand family, adding to the CLAAS image building. The language of form aims at dynamic appearance and technical elegance. The design unites optimised view, good accessibility and powerful proportions. It was a question of combining a powerful look with a distinguished, clear-cut appearance. “Comfort as concept” characterizes the overall design.
