The CRS system is based on the non-invasive analysis of the body’s metabolism, measured by using UV-light to excite the autofluorescence of metabolic substances. This table-top unit is operated by the doctor and used by the patient. This is reflected in the design – it faces the patient while the technology in the raised rear portion faces the doctor. Wide-ranging ergonomic tests have revealed that every size of hand can be placed accurately on the measuring tip positioned in the arched surface.
