In hammer drilling, a speed of 380 RPM represents an achievement that exceeds the current state of the art by far. While designing the TE 70, Hilti engineers were also able to finely tune all relevant parameters such as single impact energy, motor power, impact frequency, electronic control, and the angle of rotation between impacts. The mechanical safety clutch allows users to keep the tool's maximum torque under complete control. Excellent balance was achieved by shifting the tool’s center of gravity toward the grip. The consistently implemented design clearly identifies the TE 70 as a Hilti combihammer.
