This is a unique product designed to complement mouse and keyboard for CAD & graphic professionals. It simplifies pan, zoom & fine-tune activities in CAD programs. It is user-configurable integrating a scroll-disc touchpad for value adjustment. As the product is aimed at graphic designers, the design goal was to create a simple and intuitive product that understates its power and effectiveness but instantly suggests to the user that they could use it straight away. A simple form was selected to minimize visual clutter for users in a design sensitive environment. A convex shape was selected for maximum comfort following tests with target users.
