The HR1370/HR1378 high-end cordless hand blenders are part of the Philips 2007 high end kitchen appliance line. The hand blenders are produced in two versions, corded and cordless (rechargeable). The new, smaller motor reduces the diameter of the body. The cordless version offers full functionality and provides the additional benefit that the user is free to work anywhere. The cordless feature also makes it possible to work close to a heat source (e.g. when cooking soup) without the safety risk of burning the power cable.
