The horizontal machining center is part of a family with 48 different types of machines. Therefore, the design and development process was based on the premise that the characteristic design elements had to apply to all of the machines. A simple casing concept and standardized components were used to minimize production costs without reducing the value of the final product. A circumferential stainless steel strip with a dynamic wave motive forms the distinguishing feature. The dark grey color separates the doors, control panel with integrated rear handle strip, and optional chip conveyor from the machine body.
