With the new Aero II Hybrid pendant luminaire, Zumtobel is presenting the office lighting of the future. The luminaire combines inorganic LEDs for a brilliant direct component and fluorescent lamps for indirect ambient lighting. Thanks to this hybrid concept, the luminaire system’s overall efficiency is increased by more than 10 percent, as compared to conventional fluorescent lamp luminaires. Using a precise micro prismatic structure (MPO+), the light produced by the LEDs is directed selectively to the surface to be illuminated, thus providing for minimum glare.
