Since more than 80 years stainless steel is regarded as the best material for modern, high quality cutlery that is suitable for everyday use. Under the material name Cromargan protect® WMF AG launches a version of stainless steel cutlery in spring 2009 which is 150 times more scratch resistant than before. Technically this material has been conditioned in an additional thermo chemical treatment process which is patented and internationally protected by WMF. For the consumer the advantage is the sustainability of the perceived value, even after extensive use.
