The ST-SG 5.5 was specially developed to facilitate driving special long screws through modern sandwich-type facade panels. These long screws can be started and driven easily in a single-handed operation. The risk of scratching the surface of the panels with the point of the screw can thus be virtually ruled out. Dents in the panels can also be avoided by adjusting screw driving depth accordingly. These two advantages result in a significant increase in productivity. Together with the “ST 1800” screwdriver, special “S-CD” screws and the “S-NSD8” screw driving socket, this screw guide forms part of a perfectly matched system solution.
