Van Beem & Van Haagen are specialists in the realization of the physical form of icons for a wide range of brands. The purpose of this film is to show how the projects of Van Beem & Van Haagen come about. This is done in a fun, humorous manner, which is in line with the character of this “self-made-men” organization. The film makes clear, in an exceptional manner, that there is a great deal involved in creating a voting booth or the cabinet for an ATM, for example. By photographing these items, folding the images and placing them behind one another, like in an old film, the viewer senses “the craftsmanship”, which is behind the end product.
