Steel constructions have a natural corrosion. With the steel protection process ZinkSFB® three shifts are applied on the metallic surface: first almost 100% zinc dust with nearly 180 bar at high pressure, further zinc phosphate and finally surface paint at clients demand. A surface protection is achieved without negative influence to the steel material structure as under fire zinc surface treating. It is therefore possible to use optimized high quality steel for lighter chassis constructions. The negative VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) for the environment is sustainably reduced and a long practical using time for steel chassis results in optimized life cycle costs.
