Naver aims to share experience and memories of various past events through its “Digital News Archive” service. Digitizing newspapers from 1920 to 1999, Naver has collected 2.8 million articles from 530,000 newspapers, exactly as they were when published. By providing article’s full text, users can search by keywords, dates etc. The “Converting” function helps users read Chinese characters and the “Scrap Article” function is available, too. Users can search information by year, keyword or theme. Particularly the keyword search was designed to be a contents archiving tool that shows statistical trends as a graphed result for certain eras.
