Prussian palaces are derelict. The Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation has developed a master plan in their aid. The financial means are however insufficient. The publication a quarto of history supports this additional fundraising effort and serves as a communication tool to the master plan. Frederick II counted the historic quarto among his favorite book formats. Full-page depictions of the damage show the monuments’ dramatic decay. In addition, the book features a dust jacket with the redevelopment plan and depictions of the damage, inserts with further information and tear-off postcards.
