To make the new D1000 electronic dictionary ultra-slim, iriver has developed a special new tooling process. The components inside are laid out in stacks to make this product slim. The effort is reflected in the exterior of the product. The key pad breaks away from the traditional keyboard type and adopts a simpler matrix layout. D1000’s Flash user interface offers rapid dictionary search and the user is encouraged to customize the otherwise complicated functions to access them more easily.
