The series Douala, offering pendant, ceiling and wall luminaires unites two light techniques as a hybrid luminaire: A mouth-blown opal glass distributes the light of two ring lamps shining in the room. In the middle of the glass there is a reflector which serves as a downlight directing the light of a LED module. Both systems can be operated together or separately. The stainless steel base and the glass form an optical unit. The luminaire offers a high lux level, and seems to float through the room because of its flat design. Douala is produced in two sizes (Ø 400 and Ø 500 mm) and is based on a modular concept.
