The basic idea during the booth creation was to integrate the book and to make the book itself – medium of the book fair – the relevant element on the table at the fair. A central component of the booth were 3,500 blank books – produced from remained paper. Each of the 16 different cover motifs was part of the logo “Einzelstücke”. Put together in stacks, they resulted in a counter which the visitors could stand at. Since these books were free of charge and distributed together with a poster to visitors, they were an excellent means of communication. The clearing away process of these books caused the booth to visually change and stay interesting.
