The aim was to design an energy management display in order to motivate environmentally aware actions to be taken. With its operating and design concept, the Busch-EnergyControl joins and expands an already existing portfolio of home control devices. Users can interact with it via a touch display. The color coding, indicating the energy consumption, highlights the product's main function: reading consumption values and recognizing trends. The value display for the consumption is shown explicitly and is supported by informative graphics. Icon navigation allows access to further functions e.g. car recharging stations, eco-mode.
