With the compactly built igus® “TwisterBand”, cables turn in a confined space. The “TwisterBand” guides energy, data and media in rotary motion in constricted space with low wear and at low costs. All cables are always kept close to the axis at high rotary speeds. The “TwisterBand” allows rapid rotary speeds up to 3,000° or more, depending on tape length or height of the axis of rotation. Due to the mass-related much lower centrifugal forces, rotation speeds up to 360° / s are possible. Thanks to the low installation size and compactness, the Energy Chain System® can be used safely in any installation position.
