This design aimed at promoting the 2009 Asian Archery Federation(AAF) Congress in Bali, Indonesia organized by the Korea Archery Association(KAA) and sponsored by Kia Motors. The quintessential part of the design was to symbolize regional characteristics of Bali and envision the bright future of AAF. Above all, a new interpretation of Indonesian traditional patterns was incorporated into the design to render the image of Indonesia, which was symbolized by the image of human figure shooting an arrow. Red and white colors were adopted from the national flag of Indonesia, and green and yellow colors were used to symbolize the splendid natural scenery of the country.
