The Atto 5000 pendant lamp designed by interior architect Seppo Koho was launched in 2009 after a long product development process. Atto conforms with the Scandinavian lines of the Secto Design lamp collection, but its technical concept differs completely from those of its predecessors. Atto’s light source, a 16-watt 2D square fluorescent tube 4-PIN, is built into the lamp’s round shape to prevent glare. As all other Secto Design lamps, the design-protected Atto is made from Finnish PEFC-certified form pressed birch in Finland and is available in natural birch and in white or black laminated birch.
