On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, SCHWALBE presents the fifth generation of its legendary touring tire: SCHWALBE Marathon. The new SCHWALBE Marathon's endurance compound and special anti-aging sidewall now make it even more hardwearing. For increased puncture protection it has a 3 mm thick protection belt “GreenGuard” that is not just green in color, but green by nature: one third of it is made from recycled latex products. As well as having improved puncture protection and greater durability the new SCHWALBE Marathon is also e-bike ready: in the most commonly used sizes it bares the ECE-R75 certification mark, making it suitable for faster e-bikes up to 50 km / h.
