It is therefore not a surprise that all of the new Phonak Ambra microM disappears behind the ear. Visibility of a BTE (behind the ear hearing aid) is determined by its overall dimension and especially by what can be seen from the front and side. In designing the new Phonak Ambra housings, special attention was paid to these aspects. As a result, each of the new BTEs has been shrunk by an amazing 20-30% and is now one size smaller than the previous generation. The Phonak Ambra microM is specially designed for hearing impaired people with a mild to moderate hearing loss.
