The HL-2240D is a compact monochrome duplex laser printer for A4 paper, up to 24 sheets per minute. Considering using the printer on the desk in an office space, a low height cabinet was realized by an especially slim mechanism for carrying the paper. The color of the paper eject area on top is accentuated to identify the essential function of the printer. The control area consists of four LEDs and one button for basic functions. The square shape expresses the total design concept to fit in the office space as tabletop business tool.
