Electrically driven toothed belt axes are used in handling technology in general engineering applications or in the electronics industry to execute linear movements with high force and speed. The new axes from Festo have a long service life thanks to the central steel strip that protects the sturdy toothed belt and internal guide from dirt. There are four positions for connecting the electric motor. The design concept matches the existing linear axis range and focuses on convenience of use such as easy toothed belt replacement during servicing.
