Redesigning an icon – The Bullerjan wood-burning stove is widely regarded as an icon and timeless masterpiece. Its unmistakable shape has been a bestseller and a market standard. Now the new Bullerjan dot blends the stove’s original principles with a more elegant and contemporary appearance: by introducing the randomly aligned rectangular tubes for the air-flow, the designers created a beautiful, harmonizing tension between functionality and emotion. While the new design does not deny its functional origin, the opportunity was taken to transform this product into a sculpturally defined center piece of a modern, contemporary living space.
