Orientation lighting based on advanced LED technology is UW’s concept. The elegant sheet metal housing, custom colored to unobtrusively fit any architecture, keeps the luminary almost flush with wall or step. A light guide, made from robust 8-mm polycarbonate, serves as a light guide. It is evenly lit by one power LED on each side, providing with an extremely wide beam light distribution for using the least amount of light fittings and thereby saving material and energy. The LEDs long life time, enforced by intelligent thermal management, reduces the usually very cumbersome efforts of lamp changing with conventional lamps drastically.
