A series of operator panels for installation in cabinets or machines, available with a touch screen or keys from 4“- to 22“-screen diagonal for controlling production processes. The target was to take the existing HMI design into the future. Familiar design concepts were retained but rendered in a more modern style: keypads are becoming less important, so they are a less dominant feature of the design. They are reduced to the absolute minimum; the key lettering visually complements the key surface. A slender, elegant aluminum frame emphasizes modernity and mechanical stability. Color is used to enhance the impression of size of the display.
