Following the 2-year public development process, during which around 120 multi-axis joints were made available to beta-testers, igus® has been supplying the multi-axis joint robolink as a series production modular system since the beginning of 2011. Customers who do not design their own drive construction or quite simply want to save time, now have the possibility of resorting to ready-for-connection drive units from igus®. Mounted in a space-saving housing, the four stepper motors control the complete freedom of movement of a 4-DOF-arm with the aid of cable deflectors and guides.
