Translating the functional aspect of ceramic covering material into emotional expressiveness – this is the fundamental idea of this product development. The inspiration and the starting point for the design are images on outside surfaces of urbane architecture, which have been created by weathering and traces of wear. In the ceramic interpretation, we let the structures found there grow together to form an organic surface by applying prepared mineral mixtures in layers. In the decoration element, the initial subject of “traces of time” is condensed by the representation of sketches in asphalt, stone and concrete floors without defined limits.
