XION video nasopharyngoscopes are used by ENT physicians for visually examining the nasopharynx of patients. The ergonomically designed handle and completely innovative arrangement of the control elements facilitate fatigue-free work by the physician. One of the innovations is the use of a single-piece silicone housing that provides a good hand feeling and is both rugged and easy to clean. All control elements are symmetrically arranged and thus optimally suited for both left-handed and right-handed users. The highly compact system features an integrated CMOS image sensor, an internal LED light source and a microphone for stroboscopic examinations.
