We have tested full-scale models and done interviews with people concerned to solve these issues – the result is a key layout, a GUI that lets the operator focus on the diagnosis, a movable monitor and operating panel to reduce the operator's physical burden and a compact size that allows easy placement and portability. We also aimed to create a smart-looking, less-intimidating design so that patients could relax during scans.
