Seeking headphones held in place by the cord itself looped around the ear, the designers conducted rigorous prototyping before an arrangement with the right fit naturally emerged. In headphones that capitalize on the behind-the-ear format, all unnecessary structural elements have been eliminated. Gradation from the cord to the headphone body creates a graceful, seamless transition and lends coherence.
