The challenge posed by this product – in this case, to make a couch for him – was overcome by using stone in an unprecedented way. The furniture should have the character of stone, which makes the user curious, while at the same time providing comfort. We posed a challenge to ourselves with this product: for the manufacturing process we cut torches 5 mm in thickness. These are attached using a mixture of fiberglass, resin and polycarbonate. This reduces weight, provides more durability and minimizes the impact on the environment.
