The chair was designed for Artipelag, a newly opened art gallery in Stockholm Archipelago. The design was inspired by the muted light of the low November sun with its long shadows and raking light. The design has been sculpted by hand. The designers wanted to dictate the smooth transition between the shapes and angles of the chair with full control. All sides of the chair are important. Not least the back. November is ergonomically designed for comfort and made entirely of wood. The chairs are created in a joinery, where chair production dates back 100 years, using the latest technology to guarantee superb quality and long life.
