The new IBM SSD carrier is designed to support Enterprise Multi-Level Cell (eMLC) flash memory technology in the new compact storage solutions using Solid State Memory Drives (SSD). The narrow profile makes it possible to stack drives in high-density configurations, while the design of the one-way camming latching mechanism allows to select, remove or install individual drives safely and with ease.
