The B&W PV1D subwoofer was designed in the shape of a bubble – the natural way of containing internal pressures, avoiding corners and edges. The tremendous air pressures are dispersed evenly around a rigid, continuous shell, reducing unwanted vibrations. The esthetics of the design was considered to achieve a clean and elegant appearance.
