The exterior design of the TwindexxExpress is the result of an intensively dealing with the complex requirements of a double-deck train. The transition to an emblematic appearance leads to an esthetics, which reflects the character as a 200 km/h running Intercity Train. Special attention was payed to an acceptable integration of technical details like hatches, split lines, locks or air grilles in to the overall design concept. The reinterpretation of the customers’ corporate livery was part of the design work and supported especially the front-end design.
