Traditional ceiling-mounted smoke and fire alarms fail to indicate the fire source or the safety exit, reducing the chances of escape and rescue. The SF-Sensor is the first smoke and fire detector with an integrated laser pointer to guide escape. At installation the laser can be set for the safety exit. When the alarm is activated, the laser instantly projects a red guiding line to the safety exit, leading the trapped out during escape and rescue. The SF-Sensor also wirelessly transmits its position to inform firefighters of the fire source, thus saving more lives. With its minimalist design, the SF Sensor blends into any home environment.
