SCALANCE XM400 is an Industrial Ethernet switch that can be individually adapted to the customer application as a result of the extremely high installation flexibility. The industrial design integrates the system into the corporate visual appearance of Siemens automation solutions. By having two levels, the front of the device is split up hierarchically into the display area and the recessed interface area. The LEDS are arranged to line up with the individual ports. As a consequence, when fully equipped, device status information can be immediately identified.
