Brilliant design is about getting the best of both worlds without limitations. The HP Spectre X2 is a true 2:1 detachable that delivers the crucial functionalities of a notebook with the mobility of a tablet. For the notebook side of this equation, the keyboard experience was essential, so despite the only 5 mm of the keyboard’s total thickness, a full 1.5 mm best-in-class notebook key travel was designed into a metal housing to add rigidity to its super thin enclosure. On the tablet side, an incredibly well sculpted 8 mm CNC chassis was created that incorporated a svelte polished stainless steel foot that allows for 150º of rotation.
