The EasyNAT TB CPA Kit is visualized using a proprietary nucleic acid lateral-flow detection strip. The strip is housed in a leak-proof plastic device. The patented device is designed to detect specific amplicons without the need to open the amplification tube, thereby allowing a totally closed environment in which to visualize amplification product. This eliminates the possibility of cross-contamination and related false positive results. The manual operation of the device requires less than one minute and requires no instrumentation. Finally, the device is compatible with other amplification technologies, such as PCR, LAMP, SDA, and HDA.
