The CX2000 system is the second generation of a modular embedded PC family, now in a metal housing. With its multi-core processors, the CX2000 covers performance areas which have been the domain of industrial PCs to date. The power-pack modules can be combined with various CPU modules of various performance classes and with various interface modules (various field buses, DVI, USB and RS232 etc.). These are smaller than before so that the most compact control cabinets can be used with attached connection cables. The screened connection means that each module is connected with the full bandwidth of a PCI Express Lane.
