The Velaro is the most innovative highspeed train manufactured at Siemens plant and worldwide the first one with newest TSI certification, combining latest technologies with innovative design language fullfilling passengers requirements of the future. Special needs of people with reduced mobility are considered as well as environmental aspects (97% recyclability, 20% less energy consumption, optimization of drag coefficient) and higher passenger’s safety level by means of a complex crash absorbing concept, all at top speed of 400 km/h. Due to the modular platform structure the possibilities to modify the interior design are nearly unlimited.
