In Asia, each family uses the rice-cooker at least twice a day. At present, obese patients and diabetics are increasing quickly in Asia. The number has reached to 450 million. User research shows that people want to eat less sugar rice. We got the idea from natural phenomenon ebb and flow, the water scour sand on the beach, so we developed the “scour and steam” system. Through the combination of special designed steamer and cooking program, the water can scour the rice in the steam and take away 40% soluble sugar, dilute rice starch content. Finally, we can meet fat people and diabetics’ needs of eating less sugar rice.
