The TruBend 5130 is a high precision press brake, which measures the bending angle using an optical laser system and automatically makes a correction to attain the desired angle. The revolutionary operating element of the TruBend is a working shoe with intelligent built-in sensor technology that triggers the press beam stroke. Without having to carry the conventional foot switch, the operator now has both hands free for the workpiece. The TruBend 5130 is the first engineering product, which is operated using a wearable control. The design of the TruBend series was made along the lines of the newly developed Trumpf Corporate Product Design.
