Toray ecodear™ plant based polyester is made exclusively from renewable raw materials. World first: first fully plant-based polyester yarn made in lab scale, ready to launch partially plant based polyester in bulk production. Polyester is absolutely essential to all areas of daily life, not only in the textile industry. However, despite major progress in the field of recycling, the production of polyester uses up a lot of our limited resources.
