This design is inspired from the silk reeling workshop of Grand Canal of China Tongyigong Cotton Mill (1896). The designer kept cultural relic’s structure, renovated internal pattern, retained natural historical sense, integrated modern fashion elements, inherited the old factory building of industrial temperament, but also through the creative layout and design, and turned it into a fashionable and modern office space. Pure white, green and gray Bolon rubber sheet and hundred-year-old wooden frame showed the character of the whole space. Traditional textile workshops have north light high windows. The designer added a primary air system.
