i.Com mobile is a mobile tablet application developed to support opticians through the customer consultation process. The app suite covers the entire workflow: gathering patient data, anamnesis, controlling external devices for refraction and centration, all the way to informing the customer about lenses, including an interactive demonstration of Zeiss lenses and their properties. All measurement data from the consulting process can be recorded, administered and manipulated on the tablet. As it is stored on a central server, all data can be simultaneously accessed and processed via other tablets within one store.
